My daughter picked this dress for me. We looked at hundreds of gowns online and in magazines, she knew exactly what I was looking for. I had tried on 3 dresses before this. One I showed my bridesmaids, the other two I never came out of the changing room. Then I put on this dress...
I knew immediately it was the one for me. It felt luxurious when I put it on. It fit like a glove. The sweetheart neckline, the lace, ivory color, buttons down the back, and a train. Not too short, not too long. It was divine and I was in love.
Champagne was popped, pictures were taken, I cried, my mom cried, my daughter would not stop telling me how beautiful I was.
And then I walked down the aisle. My husband had not seen the dress, said whatever makes me happy, makes him happy. He teared up. "Wow!" he said. I'll never forget it.
That's why I can let this dress go. This dress was one part of a fabulous day. It's been wowed at, photographed, and danced the night away. It's ready for another spin. My hope is she finds another bride to love her just as much as I did.
